Tim Burton for Disney

Disney for the most part was never sure what to do with Burton. His designs were out of their comfort zone. Development work that he did for The Black Cauldron (bottom left) was never put to use, and stand-alone projects that Tim created for Walt Disney Productions like Little Dead Riding Hood (bottom right) never made it off the drawing board. Thankfully a few projects got the green light, like the classic 1982 stop-motion short Vincent (top).
